Booking:

A minimum spend of £400 is required when booking your Wedding Day hair and/or makeup services with Rae Anglim. This does not include the cost of your pre wedding trial as this is billed separately due to the services being carried out on a separate date.

Securing your Wedding Day booking: 25% of the wedding day quote will be required to secure your wedding date. This amount will be deducted from the final wedding day invoice. Without this deposit, the date cannot be secured.

Securing your Trial: 100% of the quote will be required 24 hours prior to the appointment. This is nonrefundable.

The booking deposit is nonrefundable for any reason (this includes acts of God, fire, pandemic, illness, strike and/or extreme weather)

Payment:

Payment can be made via BACS. Cheques and card payments will not be accepted. 25% of the wedding day invoice is payable to your artist to secure the date with the remaining 75% being due 7 days prior to the appointment. 100% of the Trial invoice is payable to your artist 24 hours prior to the trial day and is non refundable.

Failure to make full payment will result in termination of the appointment.

Cancellation:

Cancelling services anytime between booking date and 3 months prior to your wedding. No further charge, any deposits paid will be retained.

Cancelling services within 3 months of your wedding date 50% of the quoted balance will be required and any deposits paid will be retained.

Cancelling any service within 1 month of your wedding date 100% of the quoted balance will be required and any deposits paid will be retained.

Once the booking has been confirmed and the deposit has been paid to secure the booking, booked services and numbers may not be reduced.

Cancelling your trial services within 1 week of your appointment 100% of the quoted balance will be required and any deposits paid will be retained.

If it becomes apparent that clients have symptoms of any contagious viruses which include but are not limited to covid 19, conjunctivitis, herpes, head lice, we reserve the right to refuse the appointment without penalty to ourselves to avoid the serious risk of crossinfection and contamination.

Expenses:

Travel for weddings more than 50 miles from the artists location (SS120NB) are additional and calculated at 45 pence per mile

Additional expenses such toll charge, congestion charge and parking may be invoiced to the client separately.

If the appointment requires the artist to leave their location (SS120NB) prior to 6 am, overnight accommodation will be required and invoiced to the client separately.

Wedding Trial:

A wedding trial usually takes place around 3 months prior to the wedding date.

A wedding trial is held at the agreed location MonWed between 10 am and 1 pm unless previously discussed.

If the client requires more time or requires another trial, this will be an additional cost and invoiced separately.

If the client is unhappy with the hair and/or makeup trial and choose not to proceed with the edding booking it must be made known to the artist within 3 months prior to the wedding date for the client to receive back the deposit. The trial however is nonrefundable.

Rae Anglim will only allow 1 attendee at the trial unless special circumstances need to be discussed.

Client: Responsibility:

The client should inform Rae Anglim of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions.

Rae Anglim cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any know condition. The company reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited too, abusive and threatening behaviour.

Clients and anyone receiving hair and makeup services agree to release the artist from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Rae Anglim accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage or loss caused by the artist.

Rae Anglim strongly suggests the client has wedding insurance

Photography:

The client agrees that Rae Anglim may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the company’s website and social media pages unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing.

Assistants and Team Members:

At least one Additional Artist/Assistant will be needed for bookings consisting of 4 or more services priced at £100.00 per assistant + any additional expenses such as travel/accommodation.

If Rae Anglim recommends another supplier or an assistant for your event, the responsibility of that booking and that service is with both yourself and the supplier. Rae Anglim cannot be held accountable.

Covid 19:

Rae Anglim requires clients to have tested negative on a lateral flow test kit before attending any appointment.

Rae Anglim will be wearing a mask when conducting any services on her clients.

Bookings that have been affected by Covid 19 that require a new date will require the client to communicate with Rae Anglim to check availability. Rae Anglim will aim to transfer the booking to the new date at no extra cost however if the new date is unavailable, the cancellation terms above apply. Bookings changed to a different year may be subject to a price increase.

COMPANY CANCELLATION POLICY – PLEASE READ

In the unfortunate event that an artist/stylist of Rae Anglim is unable to perform services on the trial date or wedding date, for any reason, including but not limited to sickness, accident, weather, etc., reasonable accommodations shall be made up to and including a full refund of retainers for services not provided. Every effort will be made to replace the artist at short notice where possible but this can not be guaranteed and is subject to a replacement artists availability.
